Do's and Don'ts for a Jungle Safari at Alizanza Gate
Safari etiquette that keeps you safe and the ecosystem intact — plus current Tadoba safari entry fees.
Do: follow the park rules and your guide
Your guide and driver know the terrain, the animals and the regulations. Follow their instructions without argument — especially around stopping distances and when to stay silent.
Do: stay quiet
Noise is the fastest way to end a sighting before it begins. Speak in low voices, silence your phone, and listen — alarm calls from deer and langurs are how experienced guides locate a tiger.
Do: keep your distance
Use binoculars and a zoom lens rather than asking the driver to move closer. Crowding an animal stresses it and is against park regulation.
Do: be patient
Wildlife does not run to a schedule. Some of the best sightings come after forty still minutes at a waterhole.
Do: wear neutral colours
Olive, khaki and brown. Leave the bright reds and whites at the resort.
Don't: feed or touch any animal
Never, under any circumstances. It endangers you and conditions the animal to associate humans with food.
Don't: use flash photography
Flash startles and disorients wildlife. Switch it off before you enter the gate.
Don't: leave the vehicle or the designated track
Stay inside the gypsy at all times unless your guide directs otherwise at a marked stop.
Don't: litter
Carry every wrapper and bottle back out with you. Plastic in the buffer zone kills.
Safari entry fees
Forest department safari charges are approximately ₹4,075 per gypsy for an advance booking and ₹5,000 for a spot booking. These are payable to the forest department and are separate from your resort tariff. We assist with permits and gypsy arrangements for guests.
